Data Deletion
Last updated August 9, 2026
You are in control of the data On The Go holds. This page explains how to disconnect a linked Meta or Google account, and how to request full deletion of your account and everything stored with it.
Disconnect a Meta or Google account
To remove a connected Meta (Facebook and Instagram) or Google account, sign in to the studio and go to Settings › Connections, then choose Disconnect on that provider.
Disconnecting immediately and permanently deletes the encrypted access and refresh tokens we hold for that connection, along with the synced inventory of that account’s Pages, Instagram accounts and ad accounts. Once disconnected, On The Go can make no further request to that provider on your behalf.
Connections are managed at the agency level, so this is done by an administrator or manager of the agency. If you are a client using a branded portal, ask your agency to disconnect the account, or email us directly using the section below.
You can also remove our access from Meta’s side at any time, in Facebook Settings › Security and Login › Business Integrations, which revokes the permissions independently of anything you do inside On The Go.
Delete your account and all of its data
To delete an account and everything stored with it, email privacy@onthego.agency from the address associated with the account, with the subject Data deletion request. Tell us which agency, brand or user the request covers so we can identify the right records.
Full account deletion is handled by request rather than by a button in the product, so that we can verify the request genuinely comes from the account holder before erasing a whole agency’s work. Individual team and client users can be removed at any time by an agency administrator in the studio, without contacting us.
On receiving a verified request we delete the associated user accounts, brand and portal data, content items, reports, meeting notes, campaigns, leads, connections and all stored tokens. We confirm by email once deletion is complete, within 30 days of verifying the request.
What deletion removes
Deletion removes account records, brand and portal data, activity history, and every stored connected-account token. Data we retrieved from Meta or Google on your behalf — posts, engagement metrics, comments, messages and ad performance figures — is deleted with it.
Some records may persist briefly in encrypted backups after deletion, and are permanently gone once those backups age out on their normal rotation. We do not restore deleted data from backup other than to recover from a system failure.
Deleting your data from On The Go does not delete anything from Facebook, Instagram or Google. Content published to those platforms lives on those platforms, and must be removed there.
